The thermometer casing has been constructed from toughened plastics making them extremely durable and robust. Its seamless design, created using ultrasonic welding, reduces the risk of potential dirt/food traps and cross contamination and eliminates the need for an additional protective boot.
New antimicrobial technology has been incorporated within the build of the thermometer to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, which can cause illness and disease. With a Lumberg connector and IP67 rating, the 8100 series thermometer has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably into the operators’ hand for ease of use. This series of thermometers is a must-have in any food environment and is available with a variety of Digitron probes.
